      Carry on bike trails

Speaking of bike trails, I had an intern at work several years ago who rode his bike from downtown up the Monon, and one time he had what looked like a 14-15 year old kid pull a gun on him. At the time he didn't notice, or immediately register with him, and just rode by. It wasn't until he was...

      would you shoot him??

I'd make some copies on DVDs and mail them to his neighbors, his boss, and anyone else he knows. What a nut case...

      Gun owner Insurance

The U.S. Supreme Court would probably agree with her. (Sad to say.)

R V Show at the fairgrounds, carry friendly?

There were a lot of nice RVs. I really liked seeing some travel trailers with outside cookout slides/boxes. Cool idea! There was also one big 5th wheel called the Raptor... Huge trailer! Good show indeed.

      Indianapolis Airport: Declaring a Firearm?

LOL... That is the case with traveling with a long gun. It's obvious what it is! I had a guy ask me last time if I had been hunting, which I replied, yes, prairie dogs! (In Wyoming.) He acted shocked. Varmints!

"I shot her twice, she best be dead"

The reporter just wanted a story, and the old guy unfortunately gave him one. I could imagine how depressing it would be if my neighborhood went to hell and I had to have bars on the windows to try and keep the parasites out. I wish him well.

The Tactical Home - Ideas for New Construction?

A tin foil roof. :) As someone else said, I'd also have a moat, and on the other side, a security station like big companies (and I'd put my old mother in it to yell at people... she'd love that.). :D

Were you anti-gun before you were pro?

I grew up around my grandparent's cattle ranch. Rifles were always sitting around and most commonly used for controlling prairie dogs and ground squirrels (they were always invading the ranch and propagating), and of course hunting, or even putting down sick cattle. I was given my first .22...

      NEW Manufactured Winchester rifle?

I saw their display at the NRA show, and I thought it was kind of cool to see. Of course as an owner of a Model 94 (17HMR) that was made here in the USA, I'd love to see them still so, but, I still think that's pretty cool and I would also think it would be very well made. I'd love to buy...

That is amazing. I am rather surprised, but cool beans.

      carry insurance and the NRA

I've posted some of this before and it's a bit of a soap box and off topic. Insurance is nice, but that's not why I joined. My dad and my grandpa had been NRA members. When I was 18, I bought my first rifle as if it was a rite of passage. Shortly after, I also joined the NRA after viewing one of...

Three teens face murder charges in rural slaying

The poor guy was tortured by those animals. Such sadness for him and his family.

First time I had to draw my handgun (in this state)

I gave up after the first eight pages. That alone will teach the OP not to start a thread (among other things).

Colorado's new gun control laws basically unenforceable

They make laws confusing and tough to follow. Makes owning a gun more difficult.

Gander Mountain Sucks...but maybe not today.

I've bought some guns from them. I liked them a lot before the remodel. They salesman were always helpful. I could also buy clothes there too. :) A few weeks ago, I happened to be in the north Indy store. I asked about a gun that they didn't have in stock. A guy at the counter walked me to a...
