Yeah, that was total turnaround - including shipping both ways. I definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

Slide refinishing Not sure how many of you have ever refinished or had your gun slides refinished before, but I just got mine back from the shop. My g26 was VERY scratched up from over 12 years of wear, so I sent it off to rockyourglock.com and got it back within a week. Looks amazing...

That's the quickest way I know how - plugging in a flashdrive or something similar and waiting for it to show up. Sounds like a bad cable or a driver problem. Have you tried re-installing the disk that came with your camera?

      I just got that. :D

I would plug it in, turn on your camera, and if nothing starts automatically, run the imaging software directly looking for an option to import photos from camera.

I concur and add that ASUS mobos are my solid #1 choice with MSI a not so far off 2nd! Just built a new editing machine running dual SSDs in raid1 and a third as a work drive with TRIM. Working like a champ!

On a completely different note, there's this. :D I know I shouldn't be, but I'm pretty pumped to see Taken 2.

I had the slide all packed up and ready to ship and the clerk asked me what was in the box so I answered truthfully. No guns, parts, or ammo. <womp womp>

Quick question: have you ever tried shipping gun parts through UPS Store? I just tried shipping a slide off from Crown Point to get refinished a couple days ago and had to take it all the way to the Hammond UPS - a bit of a trip for a hunk of metal.

When was the last time you used a pay phone?

Mid 90s with fellow high school friends to see which phones we were still able to use a red box on (google "phreaking boxes"). Not too many left back then. Although, I did see some old ones when driving across country to CA earlier this year. Hell, I hardly use land lines anymore! :D

Awesome. I like Blythe's a lot. I'll definitely stay tuned to find out more about the November meet-up.

Thanks for the invite! I'd love to, but I'm already shooting photographing a wedding that day. I'll definitely be at the CP gun show at the end of the month. I also thought there was something coming up in Nov, too. I'll look more into that. Cheers!

Also, cool vid of your shoot with Jessica. I looked you up on Facebook and it seems we have a few mutual friends. We'll have to go out shooting together sometime. And also... talk guns and stuff. :D Cheers, ab

Thanks, buddy. I like the Glock because of its design. That said, I'm a big fan of Sigs, too. Yeesh! That would make me skittish too. Sorry to hear it.

I love my G26! It's a great IWB carry piece, and it's accurate as can be. :rockwoot:
