McCarthy was probably right, the communists, socialists, and marxists should probably have been evicted in the '50s... That, as ugly as it would have been, may well be preferable to where we may well be headed now. As a nation we've allowed the cockroaches to breed behind the wall, ignoring the noises, and now they are breaking out into the room.

I don't know the right answer / balance between the 1st Amendment and protection of the most basic principles of the Republic. Somewhere however there has to be a line wherein if you do not support the basic tenets of the nation; you need to leave.

That is what makes America different. We are not clan, tribe, race or anything else centric; we are freedom and opportunity centric. People have fought and died to get to this land of freedom and opportunity for nearly 250 years. Americans have fought and died to hold the Republic together, to ensure all citizens are free, and enable the freedom and opportunity for self government of others all over the earth. If you as a citizen don't support those principles as documented in our Constitution, then the answer should be - just leave.

We have a process for voluntary citizenship renunciation. I'm almost to the point of supporting a carefully crafted law (with due process) where citizenship can be revoked. (may be it exists, I'm not a lawyer and didn't go look this morning)

He was pressed in an interview I believe was with Fox's Martha McCallum on exactly what he meant by "give us what we want"? and he danced all around the question illustrating the point that people with attitudes like that can never be appeased.

And another thing. They put out a call for items that they needed to sustain themselves where they had to rely on others outside of their own little warped utopia demonstrating that their way is an ultimate failure. Setting oneself up to be a dependent does not promote liberty.

I think they should have to stand on their own. If they want to show us how their proposed societal order is supposed to work, they need to own the entire thing. You need stuff? You provide stuff. If you can't provide stuff? You need to figure out how to barter it from someone who has it. Or decide if you can take it by force. And then if you do the latter, of course we all know what you're about.
