    80 pounds lost this year.

My goal has been achieved. I am the happiest I have been since I graduated college. I think it's time for that big reward, now the only thing to decide is which 9mm 1911 do I want to get to celebrate.

I started "prepping" 6 months or so ago and recently took the step to get healthy. I started p90x about 13 days ago and with that and a 3 day shaekology cleanse I am already down about 15 pounds. Can't take care of your family and friends in any kind of emergency situation if you can't take care of yourself.

WTG Man. PT is an integral part of my day. Slacked off a while when I got out of the Corps to concentrate on all of the barley and hops I missed while in Iraq. Now I'm married with kids and have a commitment to make sure I am at my best...for them

    100 pounds down

I DID IT 100 POUNDS DOWN

I can't remember the last time I felt this good. But it might have been the first time I caught a bass. I am proof that everyone can do this. As the girls say, I have lost the equivalent of a porn stars worth of weight. :rockwoot:

And concealing a full sized handgun has never been easier in my life. I am doing things now that I could never had done 9 months ago. I can't believe that I lived like I did 9 months ago. It's amazing the changes in my life, everything from the way I eat, to how good I sleep.

Good luck to everyone who is working on their weight.:ingo:

Congratulations!! That is a huge milestone! Have fun celebrating a hard won victory.

Well the 100 pound battle is over, but the war is not won yet. I'd like to loose 30 or 40 more before the year is over.

But it is nice going from a 330 pound land monster to this in less than a year.

Awesome. Congratulations! I've had a couple of real bad sciatic nerve episodes over the last couple of years; could hardly walk, nevermind exercise. Much better now. Got up near 300 by the end of last summer, but I'm back down almost to 250. Going for 240, see how I do there. That was about my fighting weight, but I think I've lost some muscle.

This thread has inspired me to lose weight, I began my weight loss journey on labor day and want to lose 50 pounds. I am now down 19 pounds using the above mentioned Ketosis diet and exercise. I started out with an almost 17 minute mile and am now down to 12 minutes. I am also lifting weights. I am feeling better already but still have a lot of work to do!
