    OK.

    The list is complete.
New Mahle Pistons. Free float pins flat top. With the current cylinder heads at 62cc chamber volume it should net right at 11 to 1. The ring set is up to the power adders.
Pistons and gaskets will be in the mail.

I am stepping up on the cam. The Hydraulic piece I have is just not gonna cut it. I have picked out a solid unit that will run the engine to potential. The valve train is fully girdled and up to the task.

sounds as if your going to turn it north of 6k...:)

    Hehehehehe.

High nickel 4 bolt block +60.
Ohio crankshaft 400 crank swinging eagle 5.7" H-beams free float.
    The pistons listed.
    Gear drive.
World cast heads with raised exhaust ports. Chambers are a measured 62cc after we decked the heads.
As it sits we have turned to north of 7K with the SRP 13.5 to 1's and monster solid Comp. Just south of 600 at the crank. The cam I picked will spin 6200+ from 2800.
I am grinning just typing about it.

Probably late summer. It will be going north to RH for the body/paint. I have some work in the back to do as well. Hang a 12 bolt on Hotchkis arms.

This is the 391 as it sits right now. I will not use that intake.

A buddy and I are thinking about going to the Detroit Gambler 500 in April. Anyone ever go to an event like this? Its an on road and off road adventure for cars that are less than $500. We are looking for something but not sure what to expect, just looking to have a fun weekend.

I've always wanted to do something like that. Guess I could turn my $500 S10 into a trophy truck!

48 Chevy rat rod that I have been helping my brother work on, a little bit.
He just picked up this tri-power set up to go on the Corvette 355, under the hood.

I had a 1951 Chevy similar to this one. It was my first car. I wish I had it now.
