Been working the last 16 hours. Mandatory nap kicks in at 20 hours when disaster declared but luckily were getting naps at 16hr. Back on the unit at 0300 till 1900. Hopefully things will improve by then and I can go home.

Trying to sleep on a hospital cart in the cardiac cath lab. Doubt I'll have much success. Better than nothing I suppose

    Cushy.

Well, i just got Blue Falconed.
On a job, told there was food brought in for people being held.
So, silly me, i finish the job.
Got downstairs and, no food in sight.
It was there, someone "liberated" mine.

Cause I was already in such a good mood.

Train bringing our metal jumped the track.
    So we terminated the cast.
Cast floor 70 degrees while pouring.
    Gonna get cold now.

Sucks, Actaeon. Try to stay warm. Wish I could take you something to eat.

Thanks Snap. I have rice, canned and frozen foods. I was looking forward to something decent.
Apparently I groweled too loud. Production Foreman offered his food.
Someone takes my food i don't take someone elses.
I'll get by. Feed the machine is all. Not great food, but it'll work.

They contract those lots out to a company called Allen's....I wouldn't even know who to talk to, the rr track department came through and hit a path around 3pm when I came in but they haven't been able to keep up with the drifts, and I guess one machine had a breakdown and they don't have a ton of them...they are struggling to find people just to get train crews going dead for time rides.

I made it downtown in an hour and 35 minutes. I drove 3 miles east to get to 41 those roads were all basically one lane. once I got to 41 it was one lane to St John, and then opened up to 2 lanes. all the roads are covered with snow and ice, very slick. once in Illinois the roads got a lot better but snow covered until I hit the bishop Ford. there is still much ice even on the Illinois highways until you hit the Ryan. I anticipate rush hours going to be a disaster
