      The new "Ruger American" pistol.

I'm going to have to find a local place selling these so I can fondle one and see how I like it. If I could swing it, maybe get two. One for EDC and the other for IDPA.

New York Times Admits Assault weapons are a myth

I'm not sure of the date of the article in the link but the NYT article is from September 2014.

      Don't Flinch

I used to have a pretty serious flinch/recoil anticipation. Dry firing helped a ton. Slowly pulling the trigger at first and going faster over time. Also being sure not to blink whenever the hammer falls. I also practice getting back on target by doing a recoil movement with my wrists...

Gov't power to shut down churches

I've researched this and except for a couple of websites that think McCarthy was the stuff everything else says otherwise. His claims were BS, unfounded, and when he decided to go after the military he was left all by his Red Scare lonesome. None of his claims panned out and he looked like a...

Gov't power to shut down churches

During the days of Joe McCarthy people were prosecuted because they belonged to the wrong political party. Lives and careers were ruined over this, for nothing more than thinking differently. Any that were jailed were jailed for supposed perjury while being persecuted in a congressional...

Gov't power to shut down churches

Anyone we disagree with politically or religiously is committing treason? You should change your name to BerlinDave1934.

Gov't power to shut down churches

So we should prosecute, jail, and prevent those of the "incorrect" political affiliation from working for the government?

NHS "Junior Doctors" set to strike Dec 1

The fact remains the number of presidential memos issued by each president is unknown. They are published at the discretion of the president, they aren't required to be published as executive orders are.

Mass shooting reported in San Bernadino

He gets the seventy-two virgins. She only gets one. When she takes the one virginity she gets to spend the rest of eternity getting flogged for adultery. Muslims are crazy.

NHS "Junior Doctors" set to strike Dec 1

There's a bit of a difference between an executive order and a presidential memo. The big one being the memos are not required to be published and the orders are required to be published. With no real way to track the presidential memos the accuracy of the USA Today article can be called into...

Gov't power to shut down churches

Depending on the wording you can get arrested. Saying "I'm going to kill/beat/maim you" is assault. Saying "I want to kill/beat/maim you" is protected speech. Because you're not threatening, you're just expressing how you're feeling. Yes, it's a fine line.

NHS "Junior Doctors" set to strike Dec 1

Let's do a little bit of fact checking here. As of November 20th Obama has issued 223 executive orders and is on track to pass fewer than GWB, Clinton, Carter and even the GOP Godfather Reagan. Twelve of those have been overturned by the US Supreme Court and his term isn't over. Talk about...

Gov't power to shut down churches

I believe this is going into the territory of thought police. If you can get evidence that they are going to commit a crime, in which case they are committing a crime by making explosives, getting illegal weapons, etc., then arrest them. Until that point it's merely talk. That would be like...
