      My Springfield XD .40 isn't uncomfortable at all. It's got some recoil, but its size and weight help to manage it pretty well. Some of the pocket pistols I've held did seem like they might be uncomfortable to shoot.

      Should the government be involved? You bet. They should step in and clean it up, if BP isn't quick enough about it - then send BP the bill. Oversight is all well and good, but no amount of oversight can make such a dangerous process foolproof.

      However, at least during the current administration, the Republican party is more united than ever. What has done us in is the overwhelming majority of Democrat representation in Congress plus the White House. I would never expect nor desire that the entire Republic party vote the same way, yet...

      Didn't read the rest of the thread. I'm just disgusted with Coats winning, and by such a wide margin. I'm thoroughly convinced that he won on name recognition only. I swear, if people are just going to vote blind or just pick the guy who dresses the best, I wish they would just stay home.

      @millsusaf - jediagh's was merely an alternate view, nothing more. That sort of civil discussion is very healthy and should be welcomed. I thought he was clear in the fact that he supports the 2A efforts. What more can one ask? I'm considering showing up for the march. Good luck to everyone.
