I picked up a classic three burner at an auction for $15 once. That's my best score to date. Still runs like a champ. Might get a propane conversion for it so I have two options for fuel.
Man, I just don't want to chase another caliber, especially if we see another ammo shortage come up. That is what has kept me away from an AK so far. I just don't want to have to stock up on another caliber. I understand the OP's point, diversity. but I'm not going to carry a 8mm German K98...
Those have really nice triggers I've slobbered over them a couple of times, and came close to getting one at a show for a REALLY nice price. Maybe in the future..... I'll just add it to the list.
I don't think I would trust a derringer for anything but a very, very close shot..... maybe even a contact shot. My father has a High Standard 22 Mag that is nice but way too heavy for what you get. Stick with an LCP or LCR... Something like that.
I fear a collapse but feel it may be the only way to adjust our countries priorities. The country as a whole is spoiled and doesn't know how to work. Misplaced priorities everywhere. So I prep.... What else can you do?
I've got pretty big hands, (I'm 6'7") and just tried to hold my Glock 21 and get my middle finger into firing position (safe practices observed) and couldn't imagine firing the gun that way. I don't think this is an option for me.
I bought a ruger mark II with a 4x Leupold scope and quite like it.... Although it can be a bit jumpy. I wouldn't normally buy Leupold but it was an auction setting and it went at such a good price that I couldn't resist.
Thanks. I'm just worried that I'll screw a good thing up. I'm a pretty decent shooter.... The way I know. But I'll never turn down a shot at practicing something new. And luckily I have a .22 ruger to practice cheaply with.
It's a bad idea. I love Glocks, but don't own any glock apparel or stickers. Low key is the best policy. And when I see stickers announcing that this person owns a gun, I just shake my head. Why put a bullseye on yourself?
So I had a table saw accident three years ago, significantly cutting my index (trigger) finger. The end result is I have very reduced feeling in my trigger finger, and a lot of scar tissue right where my finger would hit the trigger. Makes shooting hard..... hell it makes a lot of things hard...
I wanted to make sure my first post was a friendly hello from Tippecanoe County. I have been a gun guy all my life, and didn't know about this site until my brother told me about it. Hard to believe.
I am a glock guy.... yeah, yeah..... I know the hate. But I love em. But recently...
