Those old bolts just keep working and working, but as posted, not a lot of money, you would be very lucky to see $150 for it, even at setting up a table and waiting and waiting. The 37 is nice and a looked for gun, so those prices are very close. I would hate to see them hanging on a wall...
When taking off a free floating handguard you have to heat to about 750 degrees to get it hot enough to start to get it to turn because of the same problem. Heat with map gas if possible, put some thread loosener on it and when it starts to boil up, just a little more heat and then it will...
I would rule out the .223, since you have a ar. I have a Rem 700 in .204 ruger which is excellent. A Rem 700 22-250 which is good. I would rule out the .308 for dogs, a bit too much.
Nice gun! Just don't let your lady shoot it without you holding her hands for her, bet it would end up putting a dent in her forehead. Bet it kicks a bit.
I am big on sig over smith autos. If you can carry the large 226, go with that. I have also a 250 but prefer the more "classics" shall we call them. They just will not let you down.
If someone has offered you $950 for it, jump in your car/truck and start speeding to meet him/her. Kind of a joke, don't speed, be safe, but go! You would not be able to get more out of that without getting a table at the 1500 and trading out of it, and then selling and trading some more, and...

The more barrel you have out in front of you, the more you will enjoy it. Depends on what you want the gun for though. Can't go wrong with the stainless.
Anyone have any 4f Black Powder that they don't have a use for? I don't need a full can, just a partial would be fine. Just to use for a flash pan. Or any ideas on where I can find some in NWI area?:dunno:
Good deal, I'll take it. Where can I get one? Taurus guns have a good fix
it or give you a new one program. Never had a problem with getting one
fixed if need be.
A .32 acp will bring you about $200. A .25 acp about $250. Both made from 13-1930.
That is realistic numbers and at the upper end, the gun seems to look like it will be on the upper end. People that talk about items listed on gunbroker crack me up. You can ask whatever you want and you may...
I am in NWI and looking for some 4F black powder for my flintlock, if anyone has any in the area and wants to part with it let me know. I don't need a full pound, partial will be fine, just for the flash pan.
JP range is a good outdoor range, but there is someone there to watch over making sure no one gets shot. If that bothers you, it shouldn't. As long as you are legel there is no problems. Kingsbury has a range and Winimac also. You can look in to these.
Feed ramp, not chamber
Also going along with danimal, you don't polish the chamber it is the feed ramp to the chamber. If you don't have a dremel, use a dowel rod with a cloth around it to clean it up. Flitz or something on that order to polish. Clean all off before you reassemble.
Cleaning
I never let my pistols sit around without cleaning after shooting, but, but, but, I had recently read a article about rifles getting tighter groups after putting about 50 rds. through them. Tried it, and it is true. Hate leaving a dirty gun sit, but if you are going to go out and...
Winchester
I have and use the win Bonded pdx1 124gr. jhp personal protection bullets.
They open very well and retain their weight. Just like all guns that you intend to use for personal protection, you have to shoot the shells you intend to carry, make sure they work in your gun. Sometimes a...
