Fortunately I still have my panic buys from Y2K and Election '04. I just hope I can keep them.....

      WE NEED TIGHTER GUN LAWS!!!!

Ding a ling a ding dong!!! Exactly right. Oh but we can add Make murder with a gun even worse than murder any other way! Crazies always were, still are, and always will be. You either defend yourself or not. How does not help anything?

      elementary school shooting

I personally blame liberalism. This is were society goes when you throw at the moral compass, any semblance of personal responsibility, and your failures are always somebody else's fault. I also agree this will be used to push for gun control, when the right answer IS to require and train...

      Bradis Guns customer service

They have the best customer service. I will ALWAYS go to Bradis because they are ALWAYS friendly and helpful. And they always used to (in the day) had a whole room full of Mil-Surps to feed my history appetite.

      Milsurp Rifles

91/30s Their 91/30 looked like almost all other 91/30s. Probably a few gems in there. Ahhhh I miss the days of Finnish Mosins, Enfields, Mausers galore, Swiss Rifles, and $59.00 M44s.

      AK74 vs AR15

I am a big fan of good AK-74s. We have a CUR-II in 5.45 that 88GT was consistently able to hit the 300 yard gong at Rio Salado (I miss that range) when we lived in pheonix. But I tried a crappy SAR-2 that threw lead all over the paper at 100 yards. Bradis has a couple of nice 5.45...

      5yr old & AR, a great combination

Agreed on all points. My 6 year old got "his" first rifle at 5 and we shot at rotten tomatoes from the garden. Only difference we had a .22 upper. Makes for awesome family fun!!!

      New Mustang=Probe 2.0?

Well if they make it European...... they can only hope it sells well in Europe. They will loose the market share they practically own and the Camaro will end up doing much much better. Ford has tried this several times now, they always come back. The 1987-1993 Mustangs saved the Mustang for...

Dad straps kids to the hood of the car

I used to threaten this..... When my (then 4) year old was mis-behaving on long trips I told him I would strap him to the roof. Worked about 3 times. On time #4 he said okay and thought it would be fun...... Bluff called, tactics changed.

What can you do about abandoned rundown house and property?

buy it Well one option is to buy it, fix it and rent or sell it. That is what I do, when funds permit. What better than being next door to your rental. You can probably buy it cheap, depending on condition and stuff now. It certainly looks abandoned and could probably be picked up at tax...

python wrapped around 1 year old

Wow lucky snake. I generally don't like snakes anyway, but if I found that around my kids it probably would have been thrown on the floor and stomped flat. Not snakes fault, but that is probably how I would have reacted. Moron snake owner will probably just buy a new snake anyway.

My car was keyed yesterday. Random act of vandalism.

That sucks almost as bad the people that do that crap I have had similar things happen in the past. It sucks. I actually got a cheap beater truck to drive to places like that. But I have people park 2" away from my drivers door of my Mustang even when I parked out in the boonies. I've...

      Stacks on pickups

I personally think stack are pointless (except the case of livestock). I drive a diesel, but work out of mine and won't even put in a tool box to save the bed space. Also don't want soot all over the stuff I haul. Now a nice 4" exhaust to replace the stocker, that I might be interested in.:D

      Thinking of getting an SKS-Thoughts?

GET IT!! I have Romanian and I like it. I would say get with a chrome lined barrel if possible just for ease of cleaning. All will work. I like mine FAR better than any 7.62 AK I've tried. I also hit much better with it.

      My Finn MN collection

OOH LA LA and this all there is to say about those....:rockwoot:

Why do I hate my AK?

Not an AK fan either Most AK actually hurt me to shoot on the cheekbone. Just 7.62 AKs. I can shoot anything else. But for some reason the stock design of the 7.62 AK is physically painful for me to shoot. I will take an SKS over a 7.62 AK any and every day of the week.

Who should be prevented from buying a firearm?

Another Note for Nobody.... If someone is to dangerous to own a gun, they should not be be let out on the streets.
