My wife has a 642 and we both love it. It's light enough that she doesn't mind carrying it. I haven't shot +P's through it yet but the recoil isn't bad with regular loads. I may have to get one for myself.
I took mine to a locally owned print/packing shop and ran off 4 copies and laminated the original. I also scanned it and have it on a memory stick. I didn't reduce the size and the color matches so I'm good to go.
I mailed my application on Feb. 19, the ISP recieved it Feb. 21, and I just got it back today on April 15th. I think that was pretty quick. Now my wife and I both have our Lifetime License. Now I need a job so I can buy more guns.
Hey cce, it's me. Haven't been on here very long and it's a nice place to go when the GB forums get a little to heated (which is every night). Let me know what you end up with for a IWB holster. I'm carrying my XD SC in a Don Hume but have been looking to try something different. Maybe the...
Those are sweet. One of these day's I'm going to get a 500. I shot my Ruger Redhawk .44 for the first time last week and the recoil wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I'm already wanting to upsize.
They will get a little faded but I've heard that Armor-All will help. I keep mine in the garage and other than the scrapes and scratches it looks like brand new (It's about 10 years old). Put a tarp over it to keep the sun off and you'd be fine.
I saw in the Sunday paper that Dick's has the Pelican Colorado canoes on sale for $299. It say's they're made out of Ram-X and it's 15 1/2ft. I don't know much about the Pelican brand.
I have an Old Towne Guide that I use on the creeks and rivers and it has held up real well. I've had my wife...
I had a PT940 that I kept in the console but sold it to buy a Sig. I used to carry a PT140 Milimium Pro all the time. Put lot's of rounds through the -140 and never had a FTF/FTE or any problems with it. The trigger took a little while to get used to but once I did I never noticed it. I ended up...
Are you TDY or PCS? If it's PCS you can get an Indiana DL to establish residency and then you can apply for your handgun license. I think there may be a time period after you establish residency before you can apply. If your here TDY your probably out of luck.
Go to IN.gov: Home and the...
I'd go with a Ruger 10/22 also. There's lots of accesories out there so you can upgrade it however you want. I've had mine since 1985 and it's still one of my favorite rifles.
I went through the same thing last year. I ended up trading my PT140 for an XD40SC. I really liked my Taurus but I love my XD. I hated to trade in the Taurus but I didn't need two .40 sub-compacts. My XD is my daily CCW and it has eaten everything I've fed it without fail.
If you're looking for a loop trail check out Harrison-Crawford Forestry. Thay have at least one overnight trail that is 42 miles (AHT-Adventure Hiking Trail) with half-face shelters along the trail to sleep in. I haven't hiked an overnight there but we camp in the electric campground a lot...
