Yes, but what kind of business? Bain frequently bought US companies and deconstructed them. Firing the employees, selling off the assets and shipping the jobs off to China and other countries. What would he be willing to outsource as POTUS?

Ask that same question to employees whose company's were dissolved and or jobs sent overseas under Romneys stint at Bain! He's not the business man you think he is! Romney Unfortunatly is a follower not a leader!

    I guess we're ****ed

Mitt Romney is ONE GUY who signed obviously bad laws. The Democratic party is an entire party DEDICATED to removing guns completely.

Not only the freedom to bear arms is at risk though. Socialism includes all types of restrictions on liberty, like telling our children what they can eat at school lunch, deciding what healthcare services we receive, banning sugar or large sodas, and the list goes on forever. It is rarely Republicans that come up with frivolous laws like a large soda ban, but almost always Democrats, because they are the ones who are arrogant and elitist enough to think they they know better.

Think long and hard about who you are supporting when you put down Romney.

Oh, and P.S. -- Biden actually WROTE the AWB in 1994. So you'd rather he stay in power? And how many anti-gun laws have Dems wrote in the last 30 years vs. Reps, I'd be real interested to see those statistics!

I'm sure you hold Reagan in High esteem so here's this little gem from when he was Governor of California- Mulford Act - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I will vote for Romney because he is Republican, and can at least work with the Republican congress, AND because he is the ONLY one that can replace Obama in 2012. I don't care if he came from liberal Massachusetts, because at least he isn't a member of the Democrat party, which has become the Socialist party in every possible way. I'm not voting for Romney personally, just like I'm not voting against Obama personally, IT IS ABOUT THE PARTY.

If you listen to Pelosi, Reed, and the wacko Democrat talking points daily like I do, and don't see that they are ANTI-AMERICAN, carrying member of the communist party, then I think you are severely mentally challenged.

Before 9-11 the Democrats used to be more moderate I thought. But now they hate American flags, love to insert racism into everything, focus all of their energies on gays and minorities, despise Christianity, while forcing despicably ignorant Politically Correctness down our throats, without giving a whistling fart about average Americans, or preserving the culture of America. The current Democrats in office want to remove the pledge of allegiance (already succeeded), take away your right to choose what soda you drink, vet rid of Christmas, shut down coal power plants that drive our economy, and raise your taxes so they can use your tax money to buy votes from illegal immigrants, and much more crap like that which makes my stomach turn in anger.

So, IMO every single one of us that votes for Obama, or does not vote Democrats out of EVERY office, should reconsider your country of citizenship. If you hate America as much as the current Democrat party, then go live somewhere else. What made America great was hard work, free enterprise and mass production. If you want to destroy capitalism then vote in a Democrat, but don't expect the country to ever be great again, and enjoy the downward spiral.

I guess Fascism is just as acceptable.

That was a truly rotten law, but in Reagan's defense, I would have to say that he matured without flipflopping. You may recall that he started off liberal enough to be a Swede and moves steadily to the Right until the time he was regarded as THE conservative. Not perfect, but he did develop a strong moral compass unlike most anyone since.

How do you figure? At the end of his career he supported the Brady Act. How many bad laws did he call for the repeal of?

I still have love for you Caleb! If the politicians would just start listening to "We the People" who elected them the country would not be in nearly the shape it is now.

As for some who just want republican control and want the democrats out completely wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a two party republic and make it the same as a dictatorship or communism? There would be no real opposition to anything or no checks and balances on that case? Just a wondering thought!

It is true that he did not work toward the repeal of bad laws, but unlike Bush Jr., he never had a friendly congress. By the time of the Brady act, he was out of office and not mentally sound. No, we need someone of far greater fortitude in order to get a meaningful change, but I have to give the man credit for growing in the right direction as opposed to being more like T. Kennedy, R. Lugar, and others who, if anything, got worse with age.

How does Fascism have anything whatsoever to do with this? I KNOW what Fascism is--its strong arming and intimidating voters and bullying your way into power. *Cough* Sounds a lot like ACORN, Occupy Wall Street, and 'community organizing' to me. That's who you are backing, not Republicans. Republicans as a platform want smaller government, although I admit the Libertarian agenda is more authentic (and the Tea Party is bringing that to the Reps).

Look at the gun laws in states run by Democrats and you can see their party ideology in action. CHICAGO is where Obama came from, and his former Chief of Staff is the current Mayor. Again, Biden authored the Assault Weapons Ban (AWB). You refuse to look at facts and relevant recent history, instead repeat liberal talking points like a robot, and attack, attack, attack the only person that can remove Obama.

I've heard many people say that they want Obama in office to hasten our demise. I'd like to hear the reasoning behind that, because self destruction isn't reasonable at all to me.

I should clarify my own ideology: It is not the Democrat party that is the problem IMO, it is the LIBERAL agenda that they have adopted, that has hijacked their party. Liberal is a nice word for socialist, which is a nice word for communist ;).
