Whether Obama or Romney is driving, the result is the same.

Whether Obama or Romney is driving, the result is the same.

While I understand that Romney has similarities to Obama, especially as pointed out previously with healthcare and even guns, him being elected would be a massive cabinet change. And the people he appoints would not be left wing nutjobs. I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't assign Ron Paul to a lofty position. And, you don't even know who his VP pick will be.

Your only explanation, as a conservative, for leaving Obama in place to hasten Americas collapse. I don't see how any of us will be better off for that. It is highly unlikely that a quick turnaround will occur if our government completely fails, so you could be looking at two generations or more of abject poverty and wretchedness. I seek to understand why you would wish for this. Are you joking? A true anarchist? Is there something I don't understand about how this would be a good thing?

Face it. This will be the last election in our country for a long time. Dictator Obama will declare himself king after November whether he wins or loses.

Yep, Romney copied the AWB that Vice President Biden wrote. You don't have a problem with Biden do you? I wonder why...:horse:

You guys all need to read a lot of Thomas Sowell. This guy is a real conservative, who was once a marxist, and he is brilliant.

Phase Line 'Birnam Wood': Thomas Sowell on Obama and Liberal Fascism

I'll say it again. This is not about Romney or Obama, it is about Conservatism or Liberalism. Read the article above if you still don't understand what liberalism is, then we can talk sensibly.
I refuse to vote for "conservatism" or "liberalism". You see only 2 choices, that shows who has actually bought into the MSM's agenda. So, get out the vote for your gun banning socialist. Others of us have chosen to vote for better candidates.

except for the fact that he's already appointed liberal judges. his judicial advisor thinks the 2nd Amendment is an outdated relic that has out lived its usefulness.

If Romney turns out to be a douche president, I think the conditions will be perfect for a third party to jump in.
Wasn't George Bush a big enough douche?

Maybe you've gotten your b@!!$ groped by TSA, but besides that?
You're thinking of the Homeland Security Act that created all sorts of goosestepping Federal agencies. Their creation and their activities are more than enough reason for outrage. Armed Federal agents all over the place. Big Government on steroids.

What has the Partriot Act done to you to make you so angry? I don't get how this argument keeps coming up as treachery.
Aside from outrageous warrantless wiretaps, you have things like "sneak& peek" searches. Federal agents can break into citizens' homes, sneak around and plant materials on the property, and then leave, without ever telling the homeowner. Sneak & Peek is used more than 90% of the time on non-violent crimes like drugs and tax fraud. The Feds can use the Patriot Act to spy on anyone's library records, and the librarian can be arrested if he/she talks about it. Citizens now have to pass a Patriot Act background check during automobile sales. And the Feds scrutinize what you do with your own money now. That's just the things off the top of my head. The Patriot Act is inexcusable. Shame on those who defend it.

Obama renewed the Patriot Act anyways, it is a temporary war time arrangement.
Obama continued all the Fascist policies created before him, then added some of his own.

And again, Republicans are anything but Fascist.

Bacause there are more similarities than there are differences.
His political history tells the tale.

And how do you know that? Justice Roberts' history would have predicted that he was a dependable Constitutionalist. We have all seen how that has worked out.

Romney is not what I would have wanted. I don't know for sure how he will preside. I don't know if he has any moral convictions. I think he was willing to say and do what he needed to be Governor of Massachusetts. He then had to flip flop all over the place to win the Republican primary. I do believe he will be better than Obama and those are our two choices. So I will vote for him and hope for the best. That is just reality and railing on and engaging in all kinds of hyperbole is not going to change that reality.

We can hope that Romney will be at least an okay president, but we know Obama is an anti-capitalist, anti-wealth, anti-business, anti-energy president. You can't argue with Romney is the opposite of those things can you?

We are a LARGE country with huge industrial potential, if only the environmentalists would p!ss off. We can pull out of any debt within 10 years if we get the steam rolling again! Obama is sucking the steam (and jobs) out of this country literally. We could also be one of the biggest oil and gas producers, and that alone would probably correct our economy, but no, we can't burn carbon can we, because it is 100 degrees outside now, and that is proof that global warming is real.

Romney has already done some of the things we dislike about Barry. Romney has come out and said he would have supported some of the same things as Barry, NDAA as an example. Romney has one thing on his record that Barry doesn't, yet, and that's a weapons ban. Look who Romney's major donors are. He's already bought and paid for if elected so I'm curious as to why people believe there will be any difference.

    6 major Romney donors
    1. Goldman Sachs ($564,580)
    2. JPMorgan Chase & Co. ($400,675)
    3. Bank of America ($364,850)
    4. Morgan Stanley ($363,550)
    5. Credit Suisse Group ($316,160)
    6. Citigroup Inc ($286,015)

Imagine that! During a recession businesses choose Romney. That should tell you something, these places provide jobs, good jobs. Are you are a 1%'er? And how many of these companies also donated to Obama?

You are right about the AWB, but as I've pointed out several times now, BIDEN wrote the original AWB. You know, Joe, our Vice President? And secondly, ALL OF THE DEMOCRATS WANT TO TAKE YOUR GUNS, and if Romney is one of only a few Republicans that believe in AWB (not taking away your guns) then what do you have to fear?
