I wonder if everyone hear quits their job anytime something doesn't go their way, or if they are a bit more selective in their battles.

Not being able to visit a national park is causing pain and suffering. First world problems.

It isn't just the left addicted to government.

It is worrisome that we have some on this forum that will defend the arrogance of the current POTUS,and cannot admit how far along the path to tyranny our government has traveled.

You can't really expect LEO to disobey orders and put their job in jeopardy to stand up for citizens. That is an unrealistic expectation.

if this is the case, then we truly have a problem here. disobeying unlawful orders is part of the oath they take when they get the job. if they don't understand that, they should all find a different job that doesn't require them to honor any oath.

An order to close an exit or a portion of a road from their commander is a lawful order as far as they can tell, they do not necessarily know it is an unlawful order. No different then if an officer gets an order to come raid my house here in Evansville. arrest me and confiscate my firearms, they will just show up and arrest me and take my guns.

And it was lawful to beat a slave, herd some Jews onto cattle cars, and assassinate members of your own military squad too.

Is "lawful" really the standard? Or just a convenient semantics corner behind which one can hide?
