Regarding single stack 9s, in my opinion, the P225-A1 is nicer to shoot than the P239. The P239 carries better. The 225 has a bit fuller grip.

The signess is bad. Just bought a P226 Legion and i mean literally just bought it. Already on the hunt for a 229 legion. Honestly not that into the legion marketing crap, just hard not to go that route for a 150 bucks price difference.

Agree, the original is good, but for a bit more to get so much more, awesome

Yeah, wait until you try the Legion SAO.

i bought a SAO legion 226. I wouldnt have done DA\SA on that gun. Honestly that trigger doesnt impress me that much. To me its really not much different than the standard SRT trigger kit.

That's interesting. I can feel a significant difference between the Legion SAO trigger and the single action on a Sig with the SRT installed, but that doesn't mean anything to you since yours may be different! The Legion SAO is the best non-1911 trigger I've used.

im looking for a 229 for carry gun. thinking of going legion simply because its not that much more cost.

Indy Arms Co had a P229 Legion 9mm last week.

I disagree unless you are talking about a well broke in trigger, then they may be closer. Most triggers improve with some shooting done on them, even dry firing.

i havent felt the sao srt trigger. Im comparing the DA/SA srt vs legion DA/SA to me nearly if not identical.

I was confused. Your message stated that you "bought a SAO legion 226," so I assumed you were talking about the trigger on the SAO Legion P226.

And SRT and SAO don't exist on the same gun. The SRT is a trigger mechanism for the double/single action guns that reduces the distance to reset and that's it. The SAO guns have an inherently short reset.

If you shoot the two side by side they feel very different. My p226 legion has a much cleaner trigger than my p226e2 with just srt. Dry firing did not do justice to the actual shooting of the two. The e2 wasnt bad by any stretch but the legion is better in every way.

My SRT isn't too bad, but I'm certainly hoping it gets broken in as well as my other Sig triggers. Just need money for all those rounds, hahaha, one day it will be
