It's a good thing to build your own computer. You learn so much from doing so. I didn't care about anything that had to do with computers until I was at a friends house and helped him build one. The next weekend we went to a computer show and I bought what I needed to build my own. I have never had a store bought comp before. BTW, people smell just as bad at comp shows as they do at gun shows :)

Worse. Almost as bad as sci-fi/comic cons.

I've built about three computers, but any more, I can buy one on Black Friday with everything I want for cheaper.

guy comes in everyday for lottery. today I got to wait on him. He takes up a bit of time, we don't mind. Usually leaves a tip. The other day he handed me a $10. I tried to refuse and he walked away. Today he handed me 4 lottery tickets, told me "You don't like taking cash, so take these instead.". All winners that he'd scratched off already. when I got off work I went and checked them on our self serve reader. $12.

So I can't even go see the wife because I have my 19 month old son with me and they won't let anybody visit under the age of 18 due to the 'flu epidemic' [their words]... wtf.

If I lived closer, I would babysit! That stinks...

My computer I have built 7 or 8 years ago is still kicking ass...had upgraded motherboard and ram due to old mobo quitting on me and upgraded the HDD to a SSD because I wanted to see how much faster it is.

what he wants is super fast, mega graphics, etc etc so he can game on it. I have no idea what they are talking about. Kyle and the ol man will help him get it all together

True but I like to get under the hood and have it the way I want it. I used to run a Linux partition but lost interest in that.
