I was looking at boards that would take 64GB and more, but they got expensive really fast. I'm already over-budget as it is. I'm going to be recycling everything but the board, chip, and memory from the old computer.

The only thing I recycle is the case and HDD's. Maybe the video card if it'll run newer games

Dinner at the Marriott last night. Nice burger & fries with a big side salad. $36!!!!!

Dinner Sunday night was Fish & Chips with a salad, $38!!!

Hotel was $209 a night. I mean, it was nice, but it wasn't THAT nice.

All this computer talk and I'm Jonesin' to build a new rig.

I'm at my limit with my board. 8gb ram isn't enough when I fire photoshop and do some heavy graphics. I imagine I'll build a new one this summer.

I have a tower sitting here that I wiped out the hard drive on plus two desktops. Bought the laptop for $400 with 64gb and windows 7 in June and got used to the speed and using it...never going back to the old, old dinosaurs. (Not Chezuki...he's a young dinosaur)

It's a good thing to build your own computer. You learn so much from doing so. I didn't care about anything that had to do with computers until I was at a friends house and helped him build one. The next weekend we went to a computer show and I bought what I needed to build my own. I have never had a store bought comp before. BTW, people smell just as bad at comp shows as they do at gun shows
