Wasn't looking bad until I saw the dash. They should have left it stock and just added a switch panle mounted to the roll cage. All the switches/knobs all across the dash looks cobbled together. Also as much room as there is under that hood the ignition box etc shouldn't be hanging from the dash. It kinda makes the passenger seat useless. Not bad but I think it's over priced

Potential. But cobbled together with no plan. Underhood is a bit of a mess but we have seen a lot worse. I wonder how it runs.

I would put it back on the track
CM you think I could get it for $10,000 or less?

What the the hell I don't have time to finish my project cars much less time for a bracket car plus I would have to construct another garage.
Guess I talked myself out of that one!

OK.....went to Acton and picked up the trans. It is full of hard parts and goodies. 2800 stall in the box on the floor. 1 more step closer to done.

:spend: These hobbies sure do drain the wallet.

Good thing my wife doesn't know how much I spend.

I found out years ago that being dishonest to the spouse brought down the wrath of the heavens on me.
Well, maybe not that bad but I learned to just tell her what was going on. As long as I take care of her she is OK with most of what I do. Mostly.

$2k for a built auto is a darn good price. I bet that trans from Gearstar is twice that.

The comercial pieces are very spendy.
He put the planitary's, wide 2nd gear hardened drum, magic 2nd gear band, up-sized pressure solenoid, killer servo and a host of other hard parts in it. That was $1400. The next leap is the stand along ECU to run the dang thing. I have never done one but I am sure the instruction manual will walk me right through the process.....:faint:

My TKO-600 was $2400. New clutch was another $120.

Doing a 3 peddle conversion would be spendy. Bell housing, stroker externally balance flywheel, clutch and disk, juice throw out bearing, master cylinder and peddle assembly and a killer 5 speed. . The $1400 I spent getting my trans built and a converter was a smoking deal but I do like to complain....

After spending time with a manual clutch I couldn’t put a hydraulic in.
