I have springer ss loaded. I will get flamed for this, but was kind of underwhelmed by the 97b that I shot. If I'm shooting .45 it's coming out of a 1911. I have found other .45 guns to be enjoyable, but nothing replaces the 1911 in that caliber for me.

I can agree with the latter part of your statement. .45 out of a 1911 just seems right! I did enjoy shooting both 97B's however, but I enjoy a tuned 1911 even more :rockwoot:

No flaming from here. I loved my Cajunized 97 and I intend on having one again.

Well, you all know my stand on this "But".........I sent my 97b home with the good doctor for a "Full" on re-fit. It will be slicker than the cajonized piece you shot.

Man I agree there is just something about shooting .45acp out of a 1911. But... I had a Jericho 941 all steel, one of the older ones. Built in Israel on the CZ platform. It was one of the older IWI models, I don't know anything about the newer "baby eagles". But that gun was just as sweet as a stock CZ. I sold it because it was not a CZ and if I am going to have a CZ type gun I want it to be able to tune it to its full potential. I got to tell you I really enjoyed shooting that gun, just about everyone I let shoot it offered to buy it. So for me if the right deal comes up, I will be getting a CZ in .45acp.

So.....Omega vs. the standard trigger system? My next CZ will be either a 75B or a 75B Omega. What's your opinion?

As I understand it, the Omega is better out of the box. But there's no CGW RRK, SRS, or hammer kits that work on them. So what's going to be better if I intend to get it fully worked over by llh or CGW?
