My new sights will be in Thursday but not enough time to get them on by Saturday. The Wizard's docket is full. :(

    Which ones are you pondering?

    I want a P09. I can't decide between a
40 or 9mm. I love the FDE version because it looks great and also comes with night sights too. But they only make it in 9mm. I am heavily leaning towards a .40 but I would have to settle for black frame. Cost wise I can get FDE 9mm for $540 or a black frame for $470 from several sources both online and local. I just can't decide which. This isn't set in concrete yet either on the P09 because if something else comes up used or a better deal it may change everything, for instance I'm emailing the guy with the 40p also, because I like the looks of that more than CM's 40b, mainly the rail I like more, want something with a rail.

    It can be tough deciding.

I like 9mm just as much as the rest, but want some variety too, hence the .40, also like the caliber quite a bit. Thought about getting a P07 in 40 because CZ USA has used 9mm slide assy's for $200 in stock. But that's a P07.

With the shooting characteristics of the .40 in mind, alloy frame is as light as I want to go. I had a 75B in .40 that shot like a dream. Not sure I would go the polymer route but, to each his own.

Just get the P-09 in 9mm then your next purchase should be a 97B or a 1911 in .45, that's all the variety that's needed :D

I have springer ss loaded. I will get flamed for this, but was kind of underwhelmed by the 97b that I shot. If I'm shooting .45 it's coming out of a 1911. I have found other .45 guns to be enjoyable, but nothing replaces the 1911 in that caliber for me.
