I just can't understand a Python which locked up, in the words of my gunsmith, 'as tight as a bank vault', with no discernible bore wear, would shoot that bad. I suppose it is possible that it and my hand just weren't made for each other, but it still threw me quite a curve going from a gun I couldn't hit with to one I seemingly couldn't miss with.

I think I paid $329 for the Strike Eagle last year. That is a solid solid scope. Very well worth the money IMO.I would definitely take Thumper hunting! Also, I got a really nice sling for a Secret Santa gift. I think it was CM who got it. I absolutely love it, but can't remember what it's called. CM?????
