Also, the iron cross isn't a necessarily "nazi" thing, that's a bit of an assumption.

If an Iron cross is considered "nazi" then it looks like Germany's military is still full of nazis.

It seems like the second article is conflating two different things here.

I’ve only heard about Durham’s Russia collusion origins investigation turning into a criminal investigation now but I’ve heard absolutely nothing about Trump being criminally investigated.

i think the beginning of that second article is erroneous.

I think you are overlooking the "review" part. Both the article hold to the same subject. Following the FBI probe of Russian collusion, the DoJ conducted a review of the investigation. From that review, it was deemed necessary to start a criminal probe.

The iron cross dates back to Prussia. This was the King of Prussia, 1813. It's been a symbol of Prussia and Germany for centuries. There's nothing "Nazi" about it other than it was German and it was used by the German military during the Nazi era.

I might’ve misread the first paragraph in that second article. At first read it seemed like it was saying the review that turned into a criminal probe was concerning Trump and his allies using the government to go after their opponents.

From my understanding the probe is about potential misconduct and criminal behavior on the part of the FBI and DOJ that lead to the Mueller investigation.

Google and facebook are indexing numbers in pictures. For one thing this means pictures of guns that show the serial number can be searched. Also license plate numbers, house numbers, street signs, etc.
Obviously they are using OCR software on pictures and indexing any characters found there.
