Looks like the 3 potential replacements are Brooks, Holcomb and Rokita. Well, none of these would make a decent governor (and with Daniels out it looks like no good candidate will step forward) but at least we in the 5th will be rid of Brooks. Not sure who'll step up, but hopefully they'll be better than her.

I know some of the names coming up. Several good, several not so much.

I know Kevin Rider from Carmel was eyeing that seat for a long time. He's in the latter category.
