I will just have to assume you read and didn't know what he was talking about. The UBI, as a replacement for the current welfare system has been discussed in many libertarian circles. It's actually a better method than the current hodgepodge of systems. Using a carbon tax to fund it, while getting rid of the current environmental system, is something I'd like to take a look at. Might save a few millions of dollars and serve to deregulate a number things.

I was not aware that a carbon tax counted as getting government out of areas of our lives that it has no (constitutional) right to meddle in

almrjarrell often gets his libertarian ideals mixed up with left wing progressives. You know. Because they're so similar.

Being a party partisan hack is much like being a Trump supporter...no matter what they say or how far off the rails you go, you find rationale to continue supporting them anyway.

Or, one might be an actual believer in the nonsense. MRJARRELL didn't seem to mind using the might of government to force Christian bakers to bake gay cakes. Johnson believes the same. MRJARRELL seems to support the idea of a public wage, as does Johnson. MRJARRELL's venom seems to strike contempt for Republicans much more than Democrats, as does Johnson's. I don't doubt at all that Johnson checks all of MRJARRELL's boxes.

I saw that. And I suspect he may be right.

    This is possible as well.

Someone spike your Ensure? So much derp in so little space, but it is from a master of derp, so that's to be expected, I guess. Let's address some of your inanities. I was not for the forcing of any bakery to make anything for anybody. Dare you to drag your knuckles over and find it. While I am not against a UBW, neither am I for it. I, unlike you, can see the perceived merits of it in destroying the current welfare systems hodgepodge and replacing it with a single system that puts more responsibility on the receivers end and encourages people to work, while removing lots of incentives not to hire.
I have plenty of ire for both dems and reps. But reps do and should receive more. They preach a better game while doing all they can to induce war, tyranny, and destroy rights. They should be better, but they continue with their nonsense. There's a reason they're known as the stupid party.
As for Johnson, he doesn't "check all my boxes", but he checks a majority. Which is more than either of the other two dolts do. One of whom you're going to vote for. Says a lot for you.

    Someone spike your Ensure?

Okay. First it was mom's basement, and then you find out mom's been dead for a quarter century, now you're going "old" with Ensure? I'm sorry. I'm not quite THAT old yet. Perhaps you can scour the playground for some more relevant material.

    Anyway, let's go through this.

I was not for the forcing of any bakery to make anything for anybody. Dare you to drag your knuckles over and find it.

That's a lot of work. So much that it sounds like you're trying to assign busywork. Kind of like a filibustering. How about you just explain how your actual position on it differs from Johnson's? But be careful to be consistent with your other posts. Someone may find that juice worth the squeeze to spend the time researching it.

And knuckle dragging? C'mon man. Really? Regurgitating tired old material from the progressive socialist playbook isn't the way to convince me you're not one of them.

While I am not against a UBW, neither am I for it. I, unlike you, can see the perceived merits of it in destroying the current welfare systems hodgepodge and replacing it with a single system that puts more responsibility on the receivers end and encourages people to work, while removing lots of incentives not to hire.

WTF? Is there even an actual, solid position there somewhere? Nevermind. It breaks a fundamental principle that the government shouldn't have the power to take the money I earn and give it to other people. The merits are irrelevant. I just can't support that. Mine may be an idealistic position, but I think it's consistent with principles of individual liberty. I think wealth redistribution IS a principle of progressive socialism.

I have plenty of ire for both dems and reps. But reps do and should receive more. They preach a better game while doing all they can to induce war, tyranny, and destroy rights. They should be better, but they continue with their nonsense. There's a reason they're known as the stupid party.

So, you DO admit that I'm right, that you have more contempt for Republicans than you do for Democrats. Okay. I'm clear on that then.

Pretty typical. Accuse someone, fail to offer up proof then deflect. And then fail to actually address an issue. It's getting easier to scroll past you every day, despite the fact that we have quite a bit in common. Take your bile somewhere else, I'm tired of it.

You said yourself you hate republicans more than demoncrats. What does he have to do? He called it correctly (as have I).
If you have so much ire for dems...... why do you never post it here? Usually its glowing "smart cookie" kinds of posts.
