Then you are more out of touch with reality than I thought.
Is there any area of your life where you don't separate things into one column or the other?
Nope - not anymore.
You see Sollitaire, in [STRIKE]BirdsAway's[/STRIKE] the majority's mind you are the enemy and as the enemy you cannot possibly have anything in common with [STRIKE]him[/STRIKE] them or have any valid opinions. In [STRIKE]his[/STRIKE] thier mind, he like cornflakes for breakfast and you like the blood of Christian children poured over the shredded Constitution.
This is where we are in American politics. People are no longer Americans, or even humans, they are either allies or enemies. One group is used for a confirmation bias and the other group is uniformly ignored and vilified.
I used to think it was only Politicians who played this game of thinking only for the immediate short term victory, but with the recent spate of puerile secession petitions and "deport the secede'ers" I've realized that it fully extends into the heart of America. Now, if we don't like something: pack up our state and leave.
I'm no liberal, far from it, but I don't have vilify my fellow Americans. Yes, their solutions are wrong, but know they want "destroy America", they honestly think what they're doing is the right thing (but they are wrong ).
And another thing, there is no such thing as stooping the the "level of liberals". No, when you act childish and such you're "stooping to the level of morons*".
PS - Mrs. Evilwrench, I'm still waiting to hear your answer - Do you think secession is the right solution for the problem, or did you just sign the petition because it's a solution?
* and before you pick the low hanging fruit in my post liberals and morons are NOT THE SAME THING! I know plenty of conservation morons, and be honest, so do you.
PPS - I'm going to go read & write some post about something important: guns!
