So sorry I was unavailable for a couple of days...in response to your question, "Do I think Secession is the answer?" I signed the petition to make my voice heard. If it had been available a year ago, I would have signed it then. This is not a tantrum. This is not my indication that I don't want to be an American. I have no intention of going anywhere else...but none of this is answering your question. No, I do not think secession will work. However, we need to realize that we are no longer the "united" states. Look at all of the bickering and name-calling in this thread alone, and it speaks volumes about the direction our country has gone. I may not agree with your opinion, but I defend your right, to the death, to express it. That is all this petition is to me, an expression of my disgust and disagreement with the current government.
