I just finished building my new turkey fryer.

This thing was clearly designed by someone holding a beer, and the instruction manual is from China. Not a good combination. Hillbilly engineering combined with Chinese construction.

So this thursday, mid-afternoon, if anyone hears an explosion coming from the south, or worse yet sees a mushroom cloud rise over the southern horizon, please do me a favor and do a "wellness check" on me.

If I see it from Michigan, I don't think a wellness check is going to do any good.

In other news, I now have new shocks on the front of my baby pickup and reminder as to why I pay people to do this **** for me.
On the plus side, the vicodan is starting to kick in.

I stopped the cooking for myself some years back but as I work towards moving to the middle of a nice warm, dry desert I am re-establishing my ability to cook for myself again.... The costs of being free and warm......

On another note, training was a lot of fun today, but exhausting. Learned a lot, and know where I stand on a lot of things. I know where to focus my time and attention and now I need to set goals to attain for next time.

Been snowing in Schererville for the last 90 minutes. Looks like a blizzard out there now, but with the ground wet and warm I can't imagine much, if any, will actually accumulate on the road.

Mmmmmmmm I made a meatloaf yesterday, the best I've ever made. Also roasted some cabbage and made gravy from the meatloaf drippings.
