    Thanks gb looks like for my first ar those 2pic above would be the way to go for me.
    Should i ever build my ink hello kitty ar now i know where.
    Now just need to save a bit more from the looks of it.
    Those 2parts just snap togethet???

    your money will go further and you can get better overall parts if you build it from parts... and there is plenty of help around to get you going... or buy a upper and a lower and some duct tape and call it a day... lol...

    It won't ever have a scope on it, just iron sights.
    Why?

    From what I'm told it will end up being a heavy rifle so i don't percive the recoil.
    Its not a tactical rifle and won't be for 3 gun comps, just precision shooting.

    later when you want a scope or a red dot sight on it you just put it on without any strange added mounting systems. Plus with the scope closer to the top of the barrel you will have more adjustment in the scopes clicks for bullet drop than adding 3 inches of height over the bore in handle and mount making the center of the scopes adjustments off from the bores natural poa/poi.

    You could buy a removable carry handle if you really want one. No one carries that rifle by the carry handle.

    Recoil shouldn't be a concern in any .223 semi auto. Ever.
