    Oh...
Would love to see the mechanics of how that was done and how the programming was done as well.
Any pic, video of what the system looks like.

I can visualize several different ways to accomplish that movement with servos, steppers, etc. I'm actually impressed at the price level for mass market. I'm sitting here looking at a controller that cost around 3k alone. But it will run 4, 8 axis servos... As for the code to run those. really simple, timer & a random number call for position.
I guess the real question is if I can make them cheap enough to make them affordable to an average person.

I would love moving targets. My wife would not like me spending that kind of money on one though :):
Build a berm about 3' high.

Have your wife lay on her back behind the berm.

Put 2 sticks in her hands, with targets mounted to the end of the sticks.

Have her wave those targets slowly over the berm while you shoot at them.

Because let's face it, activities are more fun when you get in some together time.

Pretty soon she will be begging you to spend the money for the motorized targets. :rockwoot:

How about a 6' berm so she can sit in a lawn chair?

For anyone interesting in a 1-minute lesson in the sport of Saber Fencing there is a video of my daughter I posted up on my Lowell HS Red Devil team page with some description of what she is doing.

    EDIT:
I should point out that I use this video to help teach my Lowell fencers but my daughter didn't fence for the Lowell team, she was co-captain of the Marian team when she was in HS
