You know, I was just wondering what I could do to get some exercise and have my knees screaming at me today.
Thank goodness the elevator broke at work, and a video transmitter went down.
Now i don't have to wonder.

Not sure how you'd co-wwitness on that.
Actually its pretty simple if you use the CORRECT mount, which is something he did NOT do.

The proper way to mount a scope on an AR15 with a carry handle is to use a special scope that mounts right to the carry handle.

If that is not used and you want to use something like a red dot or holographic sight on an AR equipped with a carry handle you use a forward extension rail that drops immediately in front of the handle and mounts the optic so it lines up with the factory iron sights.

Sadclown ran a AK that was not co-witnessed. He had a problem, it came off fast.

Yup, when you mount an optic too far over the top of the bore-axis you run into all sorts of problems. That is why the original/dedicated designed scope for the AR15 didn't use any traditional mount, but rather is installs directly into a hole in the carry handle and the AR15. The scope design, combined with the specialized AR15 carry handle mounting system that was integrated into the scope body, kept the optic as low as possible to the bore axis.

The closer to bore-axis the better, within practical limits.
