    Scrounging brass
Calico in 9mm. Great way to burn money and make brass for reloading (when it doesn’t malf). Not much left of the target after 100 rounds.

Ruger KP94DL with the integral laser that still works. Few made.

Or a Marlin 20ga pump. They gave these away to people who bought $25 worth of Marlin stock during the depression.

This is the butt stock that someone cut down for a 5yo midget. Note the bullseye to indicate it is Walnut.

    How about a Winnie Widowmaker?

Someone thought it would be easier to put a butt pad on it rather than fix the friction discs. Set up right these are a real soft shooter.

@ the corner of IN, KY & OH.
I built up this 4 3/4" 5.56 AR pistol as a PDW several years ago. Huge muzzle blast and even bigger fireball. Not much good for anything but poking holes in paper and making fireballs.4.75 inch 5.56mm pistol build RS (2).jpg
I will eventually convert this to 9mm or .300 BLK so it will be a little more practical, but it runs like a top and is fun to shoot.

The closest I have that could be considered a novelty would have to be my Taurus/ Rossi Circuit Judge .45/410. It's a revolver, but not a pistol, a rifle and shotgun all in one. It is a nice shooter and kinda fun to put a couple light load .45lc in followed by a 410 shell. People kinda relax after the first couple shots and don't expect the extra kick on the third.

    Novelty: new or unusual? Hmmm.

Got some old, goofy stuff, but for unusual how about a collection of Duncan holster molds?

Bought them at KCR late 90s. Brother and I hiked them back to car then came back to pole barn.

Unfired with all the original box, wrap and paper.;)

I have one of those, with the box, but it's not unfired. Would have been safer if it was. It works fine with stingers, but won't cycle a lot of other stuff. Aguila Super Extra cycles but every so often the slide will fly off...and because of the way it's designed all the internal parts come flying out when it does that. This is by far the worst handgun design I've ever encountered...and the scary thing is they made basically the same thing in .380!

I have a single-shot, break-action, Iver Johnson 20 GA that was manufactured in their original factory in Massachusetts...it's the most accurate single-shot 20 I've ever used for Skeet!
I only ever really use it when we're just hand chuckin' single's over at dad's farm on Sunday's, otherwise, I tend to use a Stevens 555 O/U 20 Ga, which is also a very smooth shooter!

An in practical gadget..... I suppose. Worth the price just to get laughs out of people. Fab defense glock optics mount. Should still be in the ingo reviews threads

And an Erma EP25. It was 100 bucks and my friends and I got all sorts of fun putting down clay pigeons and pop cans that got missed on the rifle range.

Did a home made hardware store 12 ga. Just for the novelty of saying I did it. Slam fire with a fixed firing pin. Fired it about 20 times now.

Novelty guns can be a lot more fun than duty firearms. Its more about the memories you make with them.

I suppose it was intended to be that blurry line right smack in the middle of novelty and unusual and maybe borderline unnecessary maybe even mixed with a bit of just because. It has been awesome seeing the mix of all of that.

What happened to the original version of this thread?
It was an error on my part . I needed to be more specific in the title even though one was in long guns and the other in hand guns. My bad guys. But still I’ve saw some very interesting fire arms here. It is more than I expected.!!!
