Hope those that attended had fun!

Wish I could've made it, especially since I set it up. School doesn't like to release schedules in what I would call a timely manner. I will be setting another up for October. After the 1st weekend things calm down a touch. Maybe make a batch of chili and make it a meet, eat, n shoot

Looking forward to one in October. October's better for me anyway,....I don't do 'heat', and whodda thunk mid September would have been two weeks of 80's and 90's. It was bad enough at the show. I was up at 1AM and driving before 4,.......didn't get home until 5PM. I'm wiped out. Getting too old for this.

Sorry I wasn't able to make it to this one. Hopefully, I'll be able to make it to the one in October.

I'm still pretty new to shooting and gun ownership. Would this event be a good place to get some pointers from people?

Depends on how many people attend.
But it's a good opportunity to learn.
And a good opportunity to see/try different guns.

Make sure you learn the 3(4) gun safety rules, and practice them.

@repeter1977 got to spend a lil time teaching my gf some things while she shot his staccato and legion pistols. I think its better teaching by more than 1 person.

Yes, I'm well acquainted with those. I've been to the range on my own and think I've shot pretty decently, but I think it would be useful to have someone watch me shoot and point out things I could do better.

I pulled in with my daughter and had no idea this was going on. I thought it was just really crowded and came back later. Kinda funny.
Wow, the 25 had an empty bench pretty much the whole time. Spent maybe an hour at the 50 which were full benches. Communication wasn't very good when i had to yell twice about holding fire because very few shooters wouldn't say anything farther down the line.

Well now that I finally have access to a computer with internet, Saturday was a mixed bag for me. Could not connect with the Nightmare, but the Jackal surprisingly did very well. I think it was mostly the Geissle trigger paired with the Fiocchi Field Dynamics. Was worried about overstabilization shooting a 50 gr out of a 1:7 twist, but gave me roughly 1.5 MOA. Panther didn't start too well, but eventually connected with 150 gr VOR-TX.

Good to meet up with Repeater and Gassprint.
