The issue is not the longevity of the seed, but the placement of it. If the dry streak continues then the elements will erode the seed and the fibers of the hydro mix. Just an inch of rain spread over 10 or so days will lead to germination which will be a huge plus. Looks like rain is in the forecast early this coming week so we should be fine.

Out of curiousity, how long does it normally take to become a member?

The meeting starts at 7:30 and you should figure on at least 45 minutes. It may be a tad bit longer if there is a huge group of new members.
