    Last three days I did one workout and ran three times. Trying to make an effort at cardio. I need a lot more of that for Spartan Race than I do strength at this time. Oh, weight loss too.

    Did a 30 min AMRAP partner workout yesterday. Once the clock hit 30 we then had 5 minutes to get our best 1RM partner deadlift. It took a minute to figure out how best for 2 of us to grip it. Between that and adding weights my wife and I only got to 405. We were loading up 475 when time ran out. It was fun getting to work as a team though.

    Today: 247 yd long range.
    Steel silhoutte target at 247 along with sandbag ( I dunno, maybe 70-80#)
    Working toward firing line in 5 yard increments are 4 cones.
    Begin workout by sprinting from firing benches, grab and drag sandbag (buddy) to first cone, turn, draw and fire 2
    Holster and drag to second, third and fourth cone. Carry buddy all the way home to the firing benches.
    Twice was enough.

    Big kids at the pool this morning. Quick warm up then 2 x 5 min swim with 2 minutes rest, then 5 x 1 min swim 30 sec rest.

    Intro to shallow water rescues and head/neck/back injuries.

    Perform 3 x distressed swimmer assist and 3 x wrist tow

    Stomach bug derailed my workout goal for the month. I was trying not to miss a day for the month of January but have skipped the last two. Hopefully I am back on track today.
