I passed one that was 2mm and one that was 3mm at the same time. I bawled like a baby as I collapsed to the floor in shear pain that I felt like it fell off. Luckily I didn't have to clean the mess....

I have one that is 4mm right now, and it STILL hasn't passed. I know it's stuck because I haven't had any more pain in the last couple months besides a minor tremor here and there. I'm fairly certain that I"ll have to have it surgically removed. As long as they give me some good drugs, I'm just FINE with that! I don't WANT to pass it naturally. Been there, done that, left the blood stain!

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know they are very painful. Hope everything comes out alright. no pun intended.

i know how you feel
last friday night my wife took me in to the hospital about 9 pm with my head stuck down by my knee's
paying for a shot of morphine. got that shot and i could sit up and the pucking was done
got a cat scan and have 2 4 mm stones on the way down and a 6mm camped out in the kidney. holy crap when that one come down the pipe
still to this day i am waiting for the 2 4mm stones to leave
the pain has moved to front now and it should be soon
went to the urologist and he said i was good for lithotripsy where they blast them with sound waves
checked with ins. company and it was cover 80% of a reasonable price witch they said was about $9,000 problem is the urologist said it cost's $12,000.
that means it will cost me about $4,000
so here i sit sweeting my @#$ off waiting for them to drop

Cranapple juice. Start drinking it. And don't stop until it pops. It might have gotten stuck like mine. These things don't just "break up". Calcium rocks are as hard as limestone.

I don't see how you do it. My wife's best friend has had 10x's that in her life and currently has 10 floating in her kidney. Some kind of deficiency she has or something. Every year she has to have them removed while she waits for test results to find out how to stop it.

Man, I hate to tell you but the doctor told me the 4mm is the largest you are able to pass and even that was iffy. You have two choices if it doesn't come out. Sit in a tub like thing that send shockwaves through your body to break up the stones, or they go "in" and take it out surgically. Usually by going up the way it comes out... I'll pray for you!

Still have it. Still have pains. running out of meds though. I just can't afford the surgery right now. I'm hoping I can hold off until I pay of the other medical bills first.

I was caught up on all my med bills until this one happened. Now I'm another 10K in debt again.
