Man don't tell me that! That's just cruel! :): Mine got stuck so I don't feel it too often. When I do, the percocets help, but that's about it. Shamefully, I'm about out of percocets and no end in sight.

I'd venture to guess mine is at least 7mm at this point. It's stuck in a tube somewhere in my side too. I'm just praying it doesn't stop up my kidney before I get it taken care of. Last thing I need is to lose a kidney... :n00b:

    Another update.

Just got back from the ER. My kidney stone has finally reached the point that I cannot ignore it anymore. They scheduled me for surgery on Monday. I should be stone free Monday night. :nailbite: I'm so freaking out right now. I've never been through surgery in my life! And the idea of them sticking something up in me through an exit only to pull it out makes me want to :puke:

On the plus side, they gave me a script for dilaudid. :D Gooood stuff.

Just warn your wife. Since the surgery will take you out of "action in the bedroom" for a while, that you'll need some real "special" attention in a week or two.

Got to have something to look forward to. ;)

Considering she stayed by my side the whole time today, well, let's just say it's been discussed! :):

Here, I got my Xray's from the hospital about my Kidney stone. I thought I would share them with you all! :) Also, apparently someone doesn't believe me as well... :dunno:

If you look closely at the two pictures, you'll see a little white dot where there shouldn't be one. If you can't find it, I'll do a quick MS Paint job to them to point them out... :): (If anyone makes fun of my middle name I'll hunt you down while you sleep! :))

In this picture the white dot is in the middle left just above the pelvic bone.

My eyes...My eyes, Wow, I think I saw your junk and some poop ewwwwww

BTW, I don't see any family resemblance of the Alien Creature that Haunts Ripley's dreams :D

Why can they not use the ultra sound waves and break it up? I was under the impression that was easier, and cheaper. :dunno:

    Later Eugene...I mean Cary

No, you can't see my junk in that picture. I do have ones that show it's outline, but I didn't want you all getting jealous.... :D

I can't qualify for the sound wave treatment because the stone is stuck in the side of the tube from the Kidney to the Bladder. If it wasn't so embedded in that tube it would work. Instead, they have to go in after it with a laser to break it up.

I'm going to have the Resident doctors over at Methodist take it out tomorrow. Because they are still more or less in training it will cost me very little to nothing to have it done. They're usually no less than 5 years experience under the supervision of a specialist the whole time. And if they mess up, they pay ME. :D

I don't know, the lose of the use of my wiener for the repair of my truck...Not so much.

I said only if it's not permanent damage! :): I'm going to lose the use of my wiener for a week regardless. I'm gonna have to have a stint put in place so my insides can heal. No nookie for me for a week.

Then again, I am married so it's not like it's gonna affect me.... :):

I just checked with a friend who works there. Wednesday is gender reassignment op day. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Oooo can they turn all three of my girls into boys so I don't have to worry about 3 girls on their period at the same time?!?!?!

I went to the Emergency Room a couple of weeks ago since I had severe rising pain on my righthand side. I didn't have Kidney Stones or any 'female' stuff - but what I do have now is a large medical bill and a copy of my CBC and CAT scan, lol.
