Ok, I grabbed some household supplies and a recommendation for a cat. I call it the BirdCATcher3000. I got close a few time but the cat and I were NOT on the same page

If your garage didn't have more swinging ropes than the primate exhibit at the Indy Zoo, you'd attract fewer opportunistic critters.

According to Wikipedia, the North American hummingbird only has one natural predator, but where are you going to find a liberal arts professor at this late hour?

You know they are also known by the name hummer. I understand Clinton wanted them to be the national bird.

It pooped on the swagger wagon. It's on now. Kids in the car and we're headed to Home Depot for a feeder. If I have 10 of them tomorrow I'm quitting.

Yes, isotoners still on, just in case.

Such words from Carmel. My man card is in a safe deposit box and can be retrieved whenever necessary.

Can a hummingbird bite through isotoners or do I need to hit the hardware store for work gloves?

I may be IN Carmel, but I'm not OF Carmel. Yes, it's necessary. Get it out tomorrow, then hie thee to the shredder. You've disgraced yourself before us. Recompense is due.

Do you have a window in the garage? Hummie will gravitate toward it.
Once there just trap him GENTLY with your bare hands. They are so
light you'll probably wonder if you have it in your hands.
The above is the voice of experience. Been there done that several times
    over the years.
Never have gotten ill or had any adverse affect from them.

A stuffed cat on a pole?....oh my! That made my day.:laugh::laugh:

I have an attic above my garage. A couple times a year, I'll find hummingbirds (and other birds) up there. They do land sooner or later...but they never fly again.
