    Indeed.

But, this'll be something else to argue about. Not just responsibility, but who will do the investigations (both sides, which will probably reach opposite results, which will be something else to argue about).

Malaysian aircraft flying out of Amsterdam. Dutch nationals - Netherlands is a NATO member. Malaysia - wonder if there were Chinese nationals.

Maybe a no-fly zone is imposed, which probably helps Kiev but only marginally.

This is a complication that really sucks in every way possible.

Yeah, the scrambling for the who/how so people know who to be outraged with should wait until all details are present. 295+ people just died...

BBC News - Ukraine conflict: Luhansk lacks electricity and water
Electricity and water supplies have been knocked out in much of the rebel-held city of Luhansk in eastern Ukraine and a major oil refinery is on fire, Russian and Ukrainian media report.
Shelling has continued as Ukrainian forces try to advance against the pro-Russian rebels.
The shelling damaged an electricity substation in a district of Luhansk.
There is no sign of a ceasefire despite the crash of a Malaysian airliner in rebel-held territory on Thursday.

So much for a cooling off period after the shootdown.

Here's an interview with the American ambassador to Ukraine. A good look at what the US government says is going on.

Vice's people on the ground in the areas currently being fought over. Lots of innocent people getting killed and more enemies being made. Warning: some graphic footage.

Kiev is saying the missiles were fired from Russia.

Hmmm, if true... Russia, not separatists in Ukraine, shot down two Ukrainian fighters. That's an act of war, yes?

That's assuming Kiev is being honest about it. Likely want to stir **** up and get others involved.

Yeah, Ukraine has jumped the shark a few times in calling out Russian complicity/responsibility.

Having said that, there is a de facto border that makes that area either part of Russia or independent. If it is still Ukraine, then it somewhat supports Putin's argument that Ukraine should be doing more to control what happens within its border.

Putin says that Ukraine should do more to control what happens within it's borders while Russian backed and armed separatists wreak havoc. Hmmmm....

Ukraine Prime Minister just announced he's resigning.

Edit: Actually, it appears the entire Ukranian cabinet is resigning, not just the PM.

Russia will do what they want. Ukraine would be insane to go to war, they found out Obama wont back them as we said years ago we would, and they know Putin will kill them for fun. Is there any place in the world that isnt in crisis right meow?
