Two guys have long-term beef. One of them arrives at the other’s home brandishing a firearm and making threat. Home guy shoots him once, DRT. Cops confirm with surveillance video.

Just love how the guy who shot at someone on his way to threaten someone with a firearm is the "victim" and the guy who defended himself against a lethal threat is the "suspect".

Man and woman coworkers get into “altercation” after work. Not specified if verbal or physical.
Man gets in his car and leaves. Woman gets in “girlfriend’s” car and they follow. Girlfriend blocks man’s vehicle in traffic. Woman asks girlfriend for a gun, gf provides, woman goes to pax window of man’s car and shows gun. Man shoots her multiple times in chest. GF punches man in face, he tells her to leave. Both remain on scene until cops arrive. Woman transported to hospital where she dies.
Cops quiz everybody, cut man loose for self-defense. Girlfriend charged with murder for blocking the man’s car and providing a gun, knowing those would likely lead to a felony act that could result in death of a person. Also charged with assault and battery. Denied bond.

A Concealed-Carry License holder shot and critically injured a man during a shootout on Chicago's South Side early Saturday morning, police said.

A 25 yo, or 47 yo, or late 40s (depending on the article) guy knocks on front door of homeowner (who might be the 40-something) and his wife. Apparently he aggressively demands entrance. Homeowner doesn’t know him and tells him to go away.
Few minutes later, same guy knocks on the back door end apparently still wants access. Homeowner once again tells him to go away.
Few minutes later homeowner hears noises in the backyard, takes shotgun and goes to investigate. His wife comes along. Same guy is in the backyard and “lunges” at couple. Homeowner shoots him once in the stomach. Cops and fire department arrive, administer first aid, guy dies anyway.
No arrests (yet), investigation continues.
Some accounts say guy was at wrong address and didn’t realize it. I suspect it will be shown he had chemically de-enhanced his perception and decision making capabilities and went to wrong house to buy further de-enhancement. I might be wrong, but I’m kind of cynical sometimes.

You really have to read way down in the story to find out this was a defensive shooting, Louisville media can’t differentiate between thugs killing each other and two jackasses attempting to ROB A STORE and getting smoked.

People gather at carwash for 4th July celebration. Baby Daddy (BD) shows up to see his kid. Relatives of Baby Momma do not like BD due to “domestic violence issues.”
Male relative of Baby Mama gets in confrontation with BD. BD pulls out rifle and starts shooting. Misses male relative entirely but kills uninvolved man and two uninvolved children.
Someone in crowd steps up and shoots BD in the back and puts him down. Unfortunately he survives. Apparently he admitted the shootings to police.
