Those of you who go to church take a lesson from this please.

You have the greeting/greeter before the service.Hand shakes and often hugs.

Before being given a pamphlet with the service and hymns.

    Sit in close contact.

Use a hymn book and sing.Lots of particles moving around.

Touching things others have touched, even possibly drinking out of the same cup for communion.

    More singing.

More shaking hands and hugs as people leave.

I am by no means against churches. But please please if one person at one church can cause hundreds of cases make some changes at your church if you can.

Smaller town in Italy locking things down.
Coronavirus: Six people infected in Lombardy

Rome, February 21 - The first six people have been infected with the coronavirus in Italy, all in Lombardy, regional health councillor Giulio Gallera said Friday.
    They are all about 40.
Gallera urged people to stay at home and avoid social contact.
He said some 250 people had been placed in isolation and would be tested for the deadly virus.
All six are in serious condition, Lombardy Governor Attilio Fontana said. "For the first time we have moved from cases of importation to cases of local circulation of the virus".
The first case is a man, 38, who is believed to have got the virus after dining with a friend who had come back from China.
    .
Lombardy welfare councilor Giulio Gallera urged all residents of Codogno and nearby Castiglione d'Adda to stay at home as a precautionary measure and avoid all social contact.

I noticed that my normal respirator cartridges (for welding 3m 2097) have pretty well dissappeared from the market. I wonder if they are getting gobbled up in a panic?

Very likely. They are P100 filters, which are better than the N95s that many people recommend. FYI- I was able to find them on Amazon easily.

    CDC press conference just ended.

    They contradicted themselves.
Is is concerning in a huge way. They say the have no testing problems now.
They say they will start to check flu cases in 5 cities. Those who test negative of flu,but have hospitalized pneumonia will have samples sent to the CDC.
Then the last question asked had to do with who they where testing.
They state they are not changing test guidelines, and travel to China or medical personnel with patient contacts who have been to China will is still the testing procedure.

The press was terrible at asking questions(questions pre-approved?).

They are updating information on the website for the first time in over a week today.

I was just going to post the transcript, but it is taking longer than I am willing to wait. You can see it and all past ones here.....https://www.cdc.gov/media/releases/2020/archives.html

I see 3 cities now putting some restrictions up,but not the 10 I heard on the news(AFP).I will keep following and see where this goes.

It is now 50,000 being told to self isolate at home. The polite thing has also flown out the window.

Since it is widely believed that the numbers of coronavirus victims in China is fraudulent, a new candidate has emerged that might offer better numbers to understand how this virus spreads: S. Korea.

To anybody who can answer this. What would be the life span for the P100 respirator cartridge's? Maybe I missed it somewhere on here but what is the life span of the N95 and P100 face masks, too?
