Here's a longer video with some commentary at the beginning and end. No interruptions in the process of the event.

YouTube - Pete Eyre Arrested For Wearing A Hat - Blatant Unneeded Aggressive Coercion

OK, so he was asked to take his hat off more than once, he wouldn't and when the police tried to escort him out, he went limp and they cuffed him on the ground.

You didn't answer me last time, so I'll ask again:

What is so difficult to understand about this?

Its getting a lot clearer, Benny. As Kirk said, "everytime you walk into a courtroom there is a chance of going to jail." And as I have learned, they don't even have to document the rules before you enter. As somebody who wears a hat every day, it piqued my interest. I understand now. People feel disrespected by the way I dress.

    Newsflash:

Everytime you walk outside there is a chance of going to jail...If you are an ass hole.

    Newsflash #2:

There are different standards of appropriate dress in a LOT of places you go, depending on who's place you are in.

In this instance, that judge didn't allow hats! Who gives a flying **** if the judge next door allows it?

    HIS COURTROOM, HIS RULES!

Again, you didn't answer my question, so let me ask it a third time:

What is so difficult to understand about this?

The part where the rules don't need to be documented, and that they are not universally applied. Also how anyone could be distracted or offended by a baseball cap. I don't understand that part.

Every judge is different. I thought I made that clear with the bold part.

No one gives a :poop: if you don't understand or like it. That's the way it's been for hundreds of years. It was quite apparent that this douche bag WANTED to become an internet martyr. He was politely asked to remove his hat and he felt the need to be a ***got about it.

I'm sure this guy is your new hero, but try griping about something that actually matters.

    WHO GIVES A :poop:???
It's a five year old story that you dug up to stir the pot. :n00b:

Lighten up Francis, it was a freakin joke. If you were half as important as you thought you were, you'd be a judge.

Itwas a joke about a judge taking decorum so seriously. But see, not every judge is up on decorum, now are they? I made no comment on the guy in the op but you automatically assume that I'm on his side.

Here's a challenge for the OP. Time to make a stand for what he believes and draw attention to these atrocities .

Get a hat and a friend with a camera. Go into one of your local court rooms and refuse to take it off when asked to do so.

Then post the video results here, please. We'll be anxiously awaiting the outcome.

I would be more then happy to run the video camera.

I would love to see Rambone get proned out knee to the back of his head, maybe if I am really lucky somebody will taze him. Maybe he will use those famous words......"Don't taze me bro!"

Rambone I will volunteer my time to help you in your fight for what you believe and draw attention to these atrocities .

Did you notice that Phylodog, Kirk Freeman and E5Ranger375 actually agree in this thread?

That pretty much makes you an epic fail.

Good God, man, get out and get some strange or something.

    Everybody noticed this!!!!

I have never seen all three agree on anything, you could say it was cold outside and one would disagree with the other over the definition of cold.

Obviously mommy and daddy did not show this guy enough attention. He went into the court to pick a fight and have it filmed. Why would someone a crossed the room have a camera focused on him? Perfect angle to.

Please do not do this in an Indiana courtroom. Supreme Court rules forbid cameras.

public, isn't the goal to keep people out of jail?:D

you could say it was cold outside and one would disagree with the other over the definition of cold

I think we can all agree that "cold" is subjective.:D

WHAT..... OMFG.... More possible trampling of our rights?

Did Rambone know about this travesty? :dunno:

Someone do something quick. If we are not allowed to tape the proceedings it is hard telling what other usurpation might be going on in there.

When I wear a hat, I take it off just about every time I go inside for any length of time. Even at Lowes, pistols make good hat racks by the way.

I do think they should have warned him that he would be held in contempt of court prior to the arrest. Many folks weren't raised with such manners and have probably never hear of taking off your hat inside. The video would have had more "meaning" if the narrarater (sorry, I can't spell that word) knew his lines, or just didn't talk.
