That's what I wanna know because if it is'nt then they have just found a way to make a charge stick without a remedy by providing proof of exemption.Another question, was the arrest (and I assume charges) something that you could make go away before going to court (showing ltch to prosecutor)?

Agreed, but that's an argument that TF and I were having.
Frost,
I have been here for the duration. Here it comes a perfect test case.
Under IC police had no charge so they made one up.
This, IMHO is what separates the Law Enforcement Professional from the JBT.
This. It seems like this charge was doled out on purpose to try and circumnavigate that exemption. IMO.That is true if you are charged under 35-47-2-24

This is the same thing the police in MI charged Sean Combs with. Since he was not required to show ID to the police in the first place the judge threw the charge out. They were not charged for not showing their LTCH, they were charged for failing to aid an officer.

I thought you were required to show your license to the police in Indiana if you are carrying.
Unless you are not an IN resident. Not sure IN LEOs can check out of state licenses.A simple name/address/d.o.b should suffice for the LEO to check and see if you have a valid LTCH if you find yourself sans the actual document.
They can and they will. Out of state license/permit holders must abide by our states laws.Unless you are not an IN resident. Not sure IN LEOs can check out of state licenses.

I don't believe he is referring to holders, but of other issuing entities.
I am fully aware that out of state license holders must abide by Indiana laws, but can Indiana police instantly check on my MI license if I just claim to be licensed? I just assumed they would have a hard time. They can and they will. Out of state license/permit holders must abide by our states laws.
