Eye doc report: hard to see, so short. They did a bunch of tests, including injecting me with radioactive dye. Doc says damage to retina is "extensive", and only time will tell for sure if it's fixable. He said it probably was strictly age related. Then, I was injected in the eye with steroids, and told to come back in a month. I was there ALL afternoon. it's nice to be home !

    Hi, CZick0s /1 :wavey:

Hope it works out MM, the cataract surgery made a great deal of difference to me, not counting picking up the bad valve problem.

Sorry to hear it's that extensive. Will definitely be thinking good thoughts for you.

Retina doctor down here said the doc in Indy "did a good job" welding up my retina and it still looks good. Next visit back in Indy in about 5 weeks or so.

Being still wound-up from yesterday, I couldn't sleep until past 2AM, so I slept in until 10AM.
My left eye is still weeping since yesterday, but there were very explicit instruction to "not touch it for 24hrs.". That's tough when stuff is running down your face !
    The trials of getting old.

As @JayCo suggested, I'm going for full-body therapy, and have some freshly dug ginseng drying on the rack. The tea will be therapeutic.

These are 6-16 yr. old roots.
