Thanks for all the comments, it really is a beautiful gun, the fit and finish is amazing. After cleaning and a little sanding the trigger feels smoother in dry firing, I will have to get to the range this weekend to make sure :)
On another note, does anyone have any experience with the .22lr...
I've heard that .454 casull is very popular in Alaska for defense against bear attacks. You could get the new Taurus raging judge that shoots 454, 45LC and .410 shot shell. first two rounds of 454, then if it still comes after you follow it up with 3 rounds of 00 buck.
New Toy CZ 75B (and range report)
Well I have been wanting a full sized 9 for a while and thought I would check out the CZ's as I have heard good things about them. I read that KS&E was the place to check out for them in the Indy area. They had quite a selection but the one that caught my eye...
Did you clean and lube it well before you shot? Mine does not like dirt, but I've only had Failure to Feed issues when the gun or mags get dirtty, never any FTE's. I would give Taurus a call and see if they have a fix. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, as it really is a great conceal wepon.
I carry a Taurus 709 in a crossbreed supertuck and love it. The service was fantastic and after a week or so of break in I dont even notice that I am wearing it. THe only thing I have changed is adding some grip tape to the back of the clips to help shirt retention as I had a some problems with...
$14.3 Trillion, that number is so huge its unfathomalbe. Thats a few billion a day in interest alone.
Makes me wonder how many guns and ammo I could buy with my 11k credit limit on my card, becuase pretty soon 11k will be pocket change.
I have the 709, I liked the manual safety and the grip is great. I tried the kel tec but didnt care for it. +1 on keeping it clean and oiled though, it does not like dirt.
I was at ITP yesterday and they said it would be around $449. At $390 I would probably trade in my pt709 on one, I would love to have a 17rd mag in a sc handgun.
What was the gun they labeled as the "American Muzzlelite"? That was a strange looking bull pup. (sorry if they said, I watched it at work with the volume off)
What's the expected pricing on this? If its < $300 I would be interested, I may hold off on my .22lr handgun purchase if this is in the same ball park. 30 rounds would be awsome.
Really good day today, we have a new female shooter to add to our ranks!!!!. I went over all the safety rules with her before we left and showed her a basic operations of the guns we would be shooting. When we got there it was packed (MLK day oops), but I think it was for the best as there was...
^ They did the same thing to me at Dick's when I bought a .22 rifle, walked me all the way to the car and put it in the trunk. I was carrying my 709 the entire time. I thought it was pretty funny. He also questioned if I was old enough to buy the gun ( 18 for a long gun right?) I'm 26 6'2...
