Would a ban make you reconsider your EDC?
A retroactive non-grandfathering mag ban isn't happening on the federal level. Ex post facto laws aren't constitutional, so "The Laut's" bill is DOA. States could do it but not likely. And....no, not changing a thing regardless. -

Even higher priced wireless cams are hit or miss. The entry level wireless stuff is garbage. Go wired if you can. Swann is good for entry level equipment. They seem to still be available, at least at my LGS. Even so, I did go ahead the other day and pick up an FN SLP that I have been looking at for awhile. Guessing the high cap shotguns will be targeted by any potential ban, so got it while I still could. -

Calling the police first helps their case in that they tried to head off a confrontation. Does driving to ones home, knowing there may be a confrontation constitute a problem? Walther PPQ

Picked up a Talo
I have a couple of Talo Glocks and I love the finish. Cleans up easily and looks really nice. Supposed to be self lubricating but I lube them no differently than my other pistols. Enjoy! -
XDs extended mag problems
I'll try trimming the spacer a bit and see if that helps. It makes for a better grip with the spacer on there, but not if it's going to cause malfunctions obviously. Worst case I'll just use em without the spacers. Just wanted to put my experience out there in case anyone else here has similar... -

The P99 and XDs are very different guns.I assume from your comments that this will be a daily carry gun? If that is the case, then you answered the question on the P99 and we need to focus on smaller pistols. Personally I love my XDs, and I was actually surprised at how reasonable the recoil was...
