XDs holster

Well, I'm sure there are worse things you could lube your gun with. My only question would be, why bother? The only advantage I could see in even trying is the fact that it is a cheap alternative to "proper" gun oil. If you want to go that route, get yourself a quart of Mobil 1 and you'll be set... -

New to me Hi-Power.
I had an FN Highpower in .40 for many years. Loved the ergos and how slim it was. One of the few full size pistols I would CC on a regular basis. Finally sold it last year simply because It had become a safe queen. It was a bit finicky with defensive ammo and .40 mags were hard to find as well... -

AK buy guidance
I can second this recommendation. I just traded in an AK for a VZ-2000, which is a version of the 58. Awesome rifle....I was never really crazy about the AK platform to begin with, but this VZ is fantastic. Beautiful milled receiver, folding stock....looks sort of like an AK but internally is... -
M&P-15 + Timney Trigger= OMG
Just installed a Timney 4lb drop in trigger in my M&P-15. All I can say is...wow what a difference. That stock trigger was about the grittiest abomination of a rifle trigger I have ever pulled. This Timney is so much better....highly recommended for those considering... -

This is interesting....Clearly states have more latitude in regulating various civil laws than do the feds (depending on what we are talking about) What I am not clear on is how a state could completely nullify an amendment to the constitution of the US within its borders as long as it isn't...- PaxRomana
