I have two one built by FN in Argentina, and the other parts from Belgium and put together in Portugal. Both shoot very well especially the Belgium one even the range master was impressed at the time. That's 20 something years ago in CA.

I had an FN Highpower in .40 for many years. Loved the ergos and how slim it was. One of the few full size pistols I would CC on a regular basis. Finally sold it last year simply because It had become a safe queen. It was a bit finicky with defensive ammo and .40 mags were hard to find as well. Probably would've kept it if it were 9mm. Someone made me an offer I couldn't refuse...

Since then I have become a CZ-75 devotee, and find many of the things I loved about the HP in the CZ.

I had one too but ended up trading it from something I could use better. It's a bitc h to put the recoil spring back into the .40.
