This may sound ignorant, but have any of you eaten black squirrels? A lot of people (take that with a grain of salt) say that they are tougher and have no flavor compared to the gray and fox.
I couldn't image they would bring in wolves and mountain lions for deer. Would't they learn their lesson with killer bee, zebra muscle, and Asian carp?
Also, a "black panther" is just term everyone uses. They are actually black jaguars or leopards. We for sure do not have these creatures in the americas lol
They are all the same animal. Puma, cougar, mountain lion, panther, mountain cat, and catmount. I think different areas call them differently. I have noticed a lot more "sightings" lately.
Any one trap. I know its coming up soon and would really like to learn how to. If anyone around the warsaw area or not to far away wants to show a noobie, or have any good websites to check out. Thanks
Well guys, I decided on this one. Had the most positive reviews. When I get it I will let you know how it works. I do not have a deer to try out (if someone wants to loan me some meat I will :P) Thanks for all the input!

Well I do not care if its manual or electric. I am usually a big follower of buy once buy right. However, I can not spend over 200$ right now on a grinder. If a cheaper electric is as good as a hand grinder, I would rather go that way.
I had also looked at that unit. Do you have any experience with it, or just based off the fact of the steel gears. I would much rather have metal than plastic
I am wanting to buy tonight. I now am seeing off amazing alot of electrics 100$ or less? Does anyone know anything about these or am I going to take the plunge? The links are in chronological order from what I think will be the best one.

Thats actually the one I was leaning towards. Just for the fact that later down the road I could hook it up If I wanted to. Have you ever tried stuff sausage with a hand crank model before?
So this is the first year that I am taking the plunge and doing meat processing by myself. I want a manual grinder for cost efficiency and I wont be processing more than 1-3 deer a year. So I have narrowed it to a couple of grinders. I know I want all metal and not a plastic auger. Let me...
I was looking at the abu silver maxx. Should i get a super heavy rod, or more like a bass rod. And for the 10-20 test line, should it be mono, braided or just whatever?
