      Holster location preferences

I'm with you on that. 3 o'clock when I OC (which is most of the time). However, when I CC in my crossbread I like it a little further back for some reason, around 4 o'clock. I guess it's just more comfortable a little further back IWB.

Where to buy a good gun belt?

I would have to give my vote to Ares belts. Very well made and extremely stiff. If you don;t need leather and can afford it, I would go with Ares, you won;t be disappointed. Plus, the give a discount to military and law enforcement.

      James Bond: Skyfall

My thoughts exactly. I think the PPQ would have made a nice touch. Or possibly even a PPX, if they were available back when filming started. Since the Aston Martin was back, I think they they could have deviated from the traditional PPK and went with a more modern PPQ or PPX. I think it...

      Walther PPQ

I own a PPQ .40 S&W, and I LOVE IT!!! It is an amazing gun. The ergonomics are second to none. Just get one in your hands and see for yourself. I only have a few hundred down the pipe so far, so I can't say too much about reliability, but so far so good. I actually use it for my EDC. There...

Had my first interaction with LE since having my LTCH...

I wish I could keep my handgun in my vehicle at work. Unfortunately, I can't. I don't necessarily feel I need to carry it all day at work, but I would really like to have it when traveling to and from work. Oh, well - it is what it is

      Given license- denied purchase

OP is still trying to dig into what the root cause for denial was. She received a letter from the FBI saying that she can't buy a handgun, otherwise she would be in violation of USC Title 18. So, now she has to figure out what in her background is in violation of Title 18 if she were to buy a...

      Ban Assault Weapons

He said he was going to ban them immediately when he got in office in 2008. Obviously, didn't happen. But you are right, that may be something he will want to push IF he wins next week. VOTER BEWARE!

Glock 3.5ib trigger for carry...convince me either way!

Why is this an accident waiting to happen? I carry a Walther PPQ in a IMI Defense holster; a very similar rig to a Glock in a Serpa holster. I haven't messed with the trigger (the factory pull is around 5.5 lbs). The trigger guard is completely covered and provides retention. I haven't had a...
